Rustom Kerawalla began his journey as an edupreneur in 2004, founding the first VIBGYOR school in Goregaon, Mumbai. What started as a single institution grew, within two years, into a professionally managed network committed to a holistic blend of academics, athletics and the arts. Today, VIBGYOR Group of Schools spans a wide network of institutions across India's major cities, educating students under the CBSE, CISCE and Cambridge International curricula.
As Founder Chairman, Mr. Kerawalla has spent over three decades shaping India's educational landscape, guided by the philosophy of "Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds" and the Group's motto, "Enthuse, Enlighten, Empower." Through the Ampersand Group, his vision has extended beyond VIBGYOR into public-private partnerships that bring quality education, skilling and livelihood opportunities to communities across India.
Mr. Kerawalla saw a recurring problem across VIBGYOR families: talented students juggling school, external coaching, travel and homework, often at the cost of rest, hobbies and genuine understanding. Rather than accept this as inevitable, he partnered with education veteran Mahesh Shetty, Lead Mentor at ARIV Education, to design a program that would fold JEE, NEET, Olympiad and Board preparation directly into the VIBGYOR timetable.
The result is VIBGYOR ACE - a program built on the belief that a student shouldn't have to choose between a strong school foundation and serious competitive exam preparation.
